Eleanor Roosevelt was the First Lady of the United States 1933-1945 and a civil rights activist. She was also the chair of the UN Commission on Human Rights that drafted the UDHR and on the tenth anniversary of the declaration she gave a speech at the United Nations called ‘Where Do Human Rights Begin?’. This is my response to part of her speech on why human rights are crucial to us all. - Nadia Hernández
